This is one of my favourite Christmas craft ideas ever, and you can learn it in a short video tutorial here.
I have used the original image of the Santa Hat from the BBC Christmas advert to create this simple but brilliant Christmas ornament.
It can be made in a variety of ways, including as a simple decorative ornaments, a decoration ornament, or a festive craft.
You can also make it in your own kitchen using the same basic techniques.
You can use any yarn for this project, although I prefer the black and white.
To make this Christmas ornament you will need: 1 piece of white fabric (see photo below) 1 pair of Christmas hats 1 large cardigan (a cardigan is a plain white shirt) 2 small bags of yarn (this will make a total of four bags) A needle and thread to sew a knot 1 set of scissors 1 sewing machine A sewing kit to sew the hat together A sturdy workbench A bit of tape to hold the hat securely A ruler and ruler-sized ruler Optional: a small hat stand to place the hat on If you have time, you can make the Christmas ornament with a single piece of black and grey fabric.
I like to make mine with a pair of red and white striped Christmas hats.
Make the Christmas Hat The first thing you will do is create a base for the Christmas hat.
Cut the fabric to the desired length and place it over your head.
Next, you will place the Christmas hats on top of each other, with the top hat on top and the bottom hat on bottom.
Once all the Christmas bags are put over your heads, use the needle and a pair, or two, of scissors, to sew them together.
The stitch pattern can be easily changed to suit your taste and style.
Attach the Christmas bag to the top of the hat.
I use the same size of bag as the other bags to make this one.
Now, attach the top and bottom hats to the Christmas base.
Use a small piece of cardigan to make a small top hat.
