Juventus’ Zlatan Ibrahimovic has reportedly agreed to join Real Madrid in a £100 million deal, according to a report in Italy’s La Repubblica newspaper.
The deal is worth up to €90 million, according the report.
The 25-year-old was previously linked with Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Bayern Munich-all of whom are expected to match the deal’s €100 million valuation.
He is expected to sign a contract in the region of €80 million, though the club may well have to drop the offer if Ibrahimovic does not sign on time.
Ibrahimovic’s move will boost the club’s coffers, and is expected be the highest paid footballer in Europe next season.
The move could also help Juventus, who have struggled to find a consistent striker in recent years.
Last season, they were beaten 2-0 by the reigning Champions League holders Real Madrid, but their new signings will help boost their squad further in the Champions League and beyond.
